John Bennett is first and foremost a veteran of the United States Army with over 16 years of service. He has held both Noncommissioned and Commissioned Officer ranks and ultimately would command an Army Engineer Company during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In addition to serving in the United States Army, he has over 15 years of enterprise software development experience as a proven technology leader. He is enthusiastic about software development and has led teams in the implementation of DevOps frameworks, unit testing practices, and best-in-class enterprise architectures.

John has worked in a variety of companies and industries. During his early career at Capgemini, he implemented applications designed to drive sales for service and parts at GM dealerships. As an application development manager, John oversaw the development of custom deployments for clients and deep integrations to JD Edwards ERP. He has implemented DevOps tools and practices using Octopus, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, John currently lives in Mundelein, Illinois with his wife and daughter. He enjoys golf, riding his motorcycle, and going full nerd on software coding. John enjoys most Chicago sports teams but is fanatical about the Bears.
