Position Summary:   

We are a team of passionate and dedicated IT consultants focused on delivering solutions by applying cutting edge technologies and leveraging cloud-based platforms. The Development and Dev Ops practiced is concentrated on full-stack custom web application and API development using a variety of technologies based on the needs of our clients. A significant emphasis is placed on software lifecycle management, processes and automation to drive excellency, consistency and predictable solution delivery.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, Implementing, enhancing and integrating software applications
  • Applying and adhering to object-oriented principles and best practice design patterns
  • Translating requirements and breaking down work into manageable features and tasks
  • Providing and verifying both project-level and task-level estimates
  • Building partnerships and managing client expectations through coherent communication and process education
  • Leading development efforts and providing guidance to development teams of various sizes and experience levels while promoting and maintaining process standards
  • Continuous education and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
  • Transparent messaging of project status to all stakeholders and owning responsibility for solution delivery

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience leading development teams
  • 10+ years working with development teams with a team size of 5+.
  • 3+ years consulting experience
  • Project Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile/Scrum

Technical Tools and Fundamentals:

  • Visual Studio 2015+, Visual Studio Code, SSMS
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design Patterns
  • Source Control: VSTS, TFS, TFVC, GIT, SVN, Clear Case

Test Driven Development:

  • JUnit, NUnit
  • Jasmine, Mocha, Chai

Development Experience with Microsoft Stack and Backend Experience:

  • C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net Core
  • Entity Framework, Entity Model, NHibernate, Linq
  • WPF, WWF, WCF, Web Services
  • IIS, Windows Services
  • Node.js, npm
  • Front End Experience:
  • HTML / CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript Design Patterns
  • jQuery, Knockout.js, Handlebars, Telerik
  • Angular, AngularJS, Angular2+
  • React, Vue and Node.js
  • TypeScript

Database Experience:

  • Relational Databases NoSQL/Document Databases
  • Normalization, SQL, TSQL, PSQL and Performance Optimization
  • Dev Ops Experience:
  • VSTS, Builds, Releases, Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Ant, Maven and Powershell

Azure Experience:

  • Web Services, Web Apps, Web Jobs, Functions
  • Azure SQL Databases, Cosmos DB
  • Azure Storage, Azure Automation, Azure Service Bus, Queues, Microsoft Powershell

AWS Experience:

  • Lambda Functions, S3, EC2, Cloud Formation, Code Pipeline and API Gateway

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus +
